On Friday I was driving on Rte 83 going to Avalon. At Washington Ave the road was closed. Only one lane was actually being worked on. Rather than allowing alternating passage, we were required to turn left on Washington and proceed to Woodbine and over To route 9. Quite a detour….and no signs. Non locals were clearly lost in minutes. Come on guys….a little more thought when you create a detour.
