Cape May County

The state of New Jersey's approach to affordable housing units is terribly misguided. It's inorganic and not driven by market forces. Affluent towns aren't impacted because their towns are already built up. NJ forces other municipalities to increase density unnaturally burdening resources and drives up taxes. Existing residents lose open space and the quality of life in their town diminishes. The people who prosper are developers and the apartment owners. There needs to be a more sensible approach to this issue, not Trenton altering the character and composition of towns with an iron fist.
