Thank you for running the piece on Via Mare restaurant... It's been a fixture in Avalon my whole life. Really going to miss it and seeing Guilia! I agree with the Islanders sentiment; too many condos and houses, not enough business. And what you get is often connected with resorts. Not small family owned. Perhaps we are at the end of an era. At least Cafe Loren is still around!
