Congratulations to the Marmora Spouter for nailing the point that we always hear about social security running out of money while entitlement programs ( including “ welfare” )are fine. A Replier responded that not that many people are on “ welfare”. Hey bud, welfare is a catch all word for ALL of the unearned handouts , funded by taxpayers, to millions of people. I acknowledge that a minority of these do need help but the vast majority are milking the system. And some of that is under the heading of Social Security system. SS is earned . The rest is a handout to too many freeloaders.
