To the CMC spouter asking why it's not OK to leave individual states to decide on abortion policies. First of all NO government should be telling women what they can and can't do with their own bodies. Second, more women especially those with low incomes and from marginalized communities, will be forced to carry unwanted pregnancies to term because they can't afford to travel to other states for healthcare. Third, some states do not have exceptions in cases such as rape, incest or to save the life or health of the mother. Women deserve privacy and a protected constitutional right to choice.
