On August 13 there was 2 accidents on 47 and traffic was detoured down seashore rd, when the traffic got to Breakwater rd it was backed up almost the entire distance from Seashore to Fishing Creek rd. The reason for this backup was the traffic lights at Shunpike and Fishing Creek roads. My question is where were the police, this situation would have been solved with a couple officers doing traffic control, why weren't they there, can they only do this after the fireworks? Do what you're paid for!
