Avalon police recently ticketed a car parked the wrong way on 24th street. It had a handicap sticker and the owner had been driven to an outdoor party directly across the street. The car owner would have willingly turned the car around if asked. Wouldn't the police have benefited from the courtesy of asking if anyone at the party owned the car? Instead, more than a hundred people now have a negative experience. I guess someone needed to make their quota.
