I live in North Wildwood but have multiple businesses around Cape May county. There is a major difference when I need to contact Wildwood and North Wildwood police then when I have to go through county dispatch. The local dispatchers seem to know exactly what and where and the few county dispatchers I’ve dealt with act like it’s their first day (maybe it was). The police have always responded quickly with local dispatch and with county I’ve waited what seems like a lifetime (fortunately nothing too emergent). I support local dispatch!
