Electric cars are good - a small govt subsidy is ok to get these cars in production and hopefully large production numbers will get the price down because of capitalizing on efficiencies of production - it is a good investment by the govt - but if things do not go well for people buying the cars the govt should not go further in subsidizing them - let the market decide where it all goes - can we gain anything from the China production of electric cars? - let's give it a try - electric cars will help the environment!
