To the DT spouters complaining about teacher salaries. It’s a hard job that requires a double major and a lot of fees and training other college majors do not require. It basically means an extra year of college, which we all know is expensive. The real issue is that higher salaries should mean the best candidates get the jobs via competition but nepotism is rampant in school districts. The best people are very often not the ones who get hired.
