Judge Aileen Cannon, the Trump appointed Florida judge overseeing Donald Trump’s classified documents trial, dismissed the case on the grounds that the appointment of and funding for special counsel Jack Smith was illegal, flying in the face of previous court decisions reaching back to the Watergate era. Now, I guess we'll never know who put those boxes in Trump's bathroom.
