Those concerned that a Trump win would mean the end of our democracy need not be concerned. We no longer have a democracy. We lost it a long time ago. We lost it because of: gerrymandering; the power of money and dishonest tv political commercials to influence elections; assaults on and legislation against voter rights; and lies about the integrity of the election process and the outcome of the 2020 election. These factors have put our democracy on its death bed. A Trump win would just pound the final nail in democracy's coffin.
