For years now there has been a silver truck which illegally designates itself a personal parking space directly on the sidewalk on Jefferson street between Washington and Lafayette. This occurs every weekend during the summer season, yet the police do nothing about it. It forces folks - including those with mobility issues - to walk in the street, which creates a hazard. What gives? Why does this person get a pass to park on a sidewalk and inconvenience everyone else?
