I agree with the Villas spouter about reckless spending. Out where I live it's called "doom spending". In spite of what people might say about the upcoming election and who they are voting for, many are scared about the overall state of America. So they spend because there is a fear of shortages, losses, and collapse. Living it up now, so to speak. Not smart, mind you, as it just drives more debt and the high prices none of us like.
