Why were there freshmen couples at the Cape May Tech Prom? Prom has always been for Juniors and Seniors. Freshmen and Sophomores could only go if a Junior/Senior took them as a date. Prom is a special time for Juniors/Seniors and that's one exciting/benefit of finally being a Junior/Senior is getting to go to prom. They don't want a bunch of freshmen/sophomore couples being at their prom. They have to wait their turn, it's only right. Let the Juniors/Senior's have their special night, it's the only time they get to go to something like that. You'll get your turn, you'll see what I mean too.
