Why can’t these municipalities do the same thing that they do for school boards. Sea isle has a school board member that sits on the ocean city school board ,but does not have a vote. Let non residents run for election to sit on the Sea Isle council to give the taxpayers a voice but they don't vote on any resolutions or ordinances. They would have to qualify by getting signatures, own a home, and attend the meeting.
