As the Republicans still control the US House, Speaker Mike Johnson continues to refuse to take up any legislation renewing defense funding for Ukraine as the Russian military runs roughshod over its people. Instead, he's going to hold a vote to stop refrigerators from using less electricity. Thank you to Congressman Jeff Van Drew for his leadership during these dark times. No wonder Cape May County is so out of step with the concept of being "progressive" as we stick our heads in the ever decreasing beach sand to events and rename Post Offices.
