We're new to the t ball thing; I figured upon paying and signing up, that our child would be placed on a team and instructed on what we need and when to attend practice. We wanted to introduce a new sport, teacher, and team experience. The very first communication we've received is that we have been placed on a coachless team with no practices until one of the parents "steps up". I've never felt so cheated of a great first with my child. I'm disappointed that my town cannot competently dispurse participants or cap the number that can sign up. I'll be better at researching in the future.
