I believe Spout Off should help turn down the temperature by eliminating all “NATIONAL “ Spouts. The vitriol serves no purpose. Nothing can be accomplished by accepting and publishing comments from either side and no one Spout is going to change anyone’s opinion. Let’s face the fact that America is hopelessly divided with people on both sides unwilling to listen to the other. Let’s return to local, non political, issues only, eg, taxes, inflation, beach fees, the dunes, overdevelopment, need for more seafood restaurants, noise, etc. I propose a Spout referendum to decide the issue.
