A North Cape May Spouter claims that the Founding Fathers created a Constitution that assures that all Americans have God-given rights. Problem: Nowhere in the Constitution does the word "God" appear. There isn't even a reference to a supreme being. In fact, the Founding Fathers wanted to establish a society that was not governed by religious dogma. They came to America for that very reason.
Moderator's Note: Let us not get confused. The Founders strived to ensure that the Constitution did not attempt to deprive the citizenry of rights which only God offers.
