In our USA, firearm fatalities increased by 87.1% over a 10-year period, from 1,311 deaths in 2011 to 2,590 deaths in 2021, beating out car accidents as the leading cause of death of children and teenagers. Guns do kill people--our kids. Check how this compares to other countries: second only to Brazil in total gun deaths in the world: 63% by suicide.
