I have been an official (Ref) for nearly 30 years. A lot of negative spouts about The Boardwalk Basketball Classic. I get paid to work the games but no one else does. The snack bar staff, the folks at the front desk & the guys with the vests & radios , all VOLUNTEERS. The money raised goes to our local schools. Maybe folks should give their time over the holidays instead of criticizing those that do.
