Today (April 2) is "Liberation Day." To celebrate the tens of billions of $$$ our government will rake in from all the new tariffs. I have seen the hype on TV - it's still there on YouTube. No mention that all money from tariffs comes from the price additions all Americans pay on just about everything we buy. I feel no jubilation on all of this. Projections for new cars are about $10K more than usual just to pay for the tariff. Trump says it will not affect the taxpayer - but omits just where these billions and billions of dollars will come from.
