As residents of a manufactured home community, we want to give a shout out to Christopher South of the Herald for highlighting what private owners and Corporations are doing to residents regarding outrageously high annual rent increases. The owners and Corporations of these parks are taking advantage of the elderly, most of whom are on fixed incomes and Social Security. In our park, the owners increased our lot rent by 20% in the last 2 years without increasing services, like preventive maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, water supply, and pool cleanliness. Common Areas are a mess
