Trump is firing federal employees and the reason given is “poor performance.” Even after they’ve been given positive reviews by their supervisors. I can’t imagine a poorer performance than what was exhibited by Hegseth, Waltz and company on the Signal group chat and Trump said they won’t be fired. So what did the fired federal employees do that was worse than his own cabinet members? That was the epitome of poor performance.
