If you’re coming back into town to open your house for the summer be sure to drive by the new Community Center under construction. You’re kidding me right? What a total misallocation of taxpayer funds. Not only is a huge waste of money but the building is so out of place in our shore community. Why does it seem that the current Mayor and Council make decisions to spend taxpayer money with NO REGARD for the taxpayers position on any of these boondoggles. Hasn’t been a better example of “ taxation without representation “ since the American Revolution.
