Today (March 12) I read a follow up news article on the beach replenishment army corp project in the wildwoods. It’s a 57 million dollar project that is just a bandaid. A project that will require additional monies to be spent in the future. What kind of engineering project does not solve the problem? Very happy a few elected officials are saying no thanks. High dunes will change the temperature on the island by blocking wind. Jetties are the answer for NW.
