Trump was never anti EV. The truth about what he has always said is if you want an electric car you should be able to buy one, and if you want to buy a gas car you should be able to buy one too. Contrast that with your party, the democrats, that wanted to ban gas cars and made gasoline more expensive to force people away from gas. That’s totally Un-American. Plus democrats allowed $7,500 rebates on $70,000 vehicles, why should my tax dollars subsidize somebody that can afford an expensive car? I can’t afford that but I should help them buy it?
