Let me get this straight, 3 departments are out of a contract and the borough is battling a financial crisis. There are no raises and employee positions are on the line. In saying this, I can’t understand why the Finance/Tax Departments would be giving promotions. Between the two departments, they have dissolved a position and are still budgeting at a 15% increase for salary and wages compared to 2024.
