The Herald quoted Ms. O’Connor, the executive director of the Offshore Wind Alliance (do you think she might have an agenda?) as saying off shore wind is the remedy for our high energy prices here in SJ. BS. We’ve wasted so much money on wind already, including Murphy handing over to Orsted the federal tax credits that were supposed to go to US, the ratepayers. If wind was efficient, it wouldn’t need the subsidies we are all being forced to finance via surcharges. I would be for it if it made sense. It doesn’t, and we shouldn’t have to pay surcharges for this or other people’s solar.
