My family and I were visiting Cape May this week. We were stunned at the law enforcement presence with canines on Washington St around a beautiful green building. When we asked 3 older ladies sitting on the bench by the Catholic Church, they didn't know or didn't want to say. They were asked to evacuate their building. We are hoping to purchase a summer home around the area but not if there is a criminal element in Cape May. Does anyone know what the issue was that so many officers responded?
