How about we use the proceeds from parking tickets and beach tag sales to maintain the position of tourism director, being that tourism brings those $'s in. Let alone property taxes that business owners pay. Unless, you want no stores in town and folks have to drive to Court House to a chain store which benefits none of us. Or, maybe some on council don't want tourism or local businesses. Maybe it is all about real estate and property values and $. Getting rid of a position benefiting local businesses, lodging, bars and restaurants, boutiques, local workers, and tourists is ill advised.
