How much money is being saved by cutting the band program at Dennis schools? When my daughter was in the band, we rented her clarinet and were responsible for paying that rent. So, the school is saving 1 teacher salary per year. $30,000.00? Maybe $40,000.00 if the band teacher had a master's degree. How about cutting one of the administrator positions? Really, why does such a small school district need 2 administrators with inflated salaries? Because the students are not the priority.....
