Both my children and grandchildren went to LCMR. I can tell you that the standards severely slid downhill over the years. Things got dumbed down and grades inflated. Principals used to value achievement from the students but it became a numbers game about graduation rates and how many “planned to go to college.” Practical shop classes disappeared, replaced with classes to play video games. It’s sad to see the decline.
