Just a little history lesson, the 14th Amendment, aka "birthright citizenship" was amended to the Constitution after the Civil War to give freed slaves US Citizenship. It was never designed as a loophole for illegals to come here, have children that would automatically become US citizens. The idea of children born to mothers who entered illegally was never challenged in court. It's just like yelling fire in a crowded building isn't covered under the first amendment or owning a machine gun isn't covered under the second amendment. Laws are abused and this one is one of the most abused in the US
