The ultimate "fact checker" is when we rely on our own judgement- be it good or bad. That's the way it has always been in America and any free country. If you care enough to look into a matter you'll find evidence that will lead you. We need "fact checkers" like we need "community organizers". Both ideas are absurd when you think about it.
