In reading about the devastating fires in California my mind drifted to our wonderful mayor Lenny. He pushed for our town to get better rates for flood insurance. Those leaders in California should have had his foresight and did all they could do mitigate these Santa Ana winds. Turning off reservoir water, etc. they should be run out of town.
