So the municipality has appointed a paid fire chief. Can someone show to me where the NJ Civil Service Commission posted the position, and properly tested and or determined the qualifications for such a position? I know several individuals qualified for such a position who were never given even a chance at applying for the position with the municipality. Perhaps the most qualified person was not hired, as per NJ Civil Service laws.
