When school districts hire unqualified teachers the students suffer! Teachers should have a Masters degree in the subject they are teaching especially in specialty & career programs. They should also belong to advanced organizations related to their field and attend professional development training to keep up to date with Pedagogy! In addition , school districts and BOE members should cut programs in their districts that are a drain on taxpayers. Those that pay out big salaries for a teacher that have very low enrollments!
