Donald Trump announced that Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, as his pick to be the U.S. ambassador to Vatican City. The problem is, Burch has been highly critical of Pope Francis and his attempts at reforms with Burch with attacks on Pope Francis’s decision to remove some conservative church leaders including ousting one in Texas after a Vatican investigation. Isn't the Pope lucky that American Catholics overwelmingly supported the Trump / Musk Ticket? So much for the Pope's "Build Bridges not Walls" pronouncements.
