North Cape May - The Lower Township comment from the two friends that walk along the road to Douglass Park and "lately" noticed the Christmas Tree decorations along the road and where a "screech owl" was entangled in some of the garland. Here is where I challenge your remark. Your key word, "lately". Our decorators, into their 13th year of this event, have been decorating just before Thanksgiving. Where have you been? As far as the owl being caught in garland, I doubt it. They are very smart creatures, perhaps much smarter than some humans. In the meantime, enjoy our trees, and Merry Christmas!
