Woodbine - In response to a spout about combining Special Services and Cape May Technical School districts under the superintendent of the Tech School, please don't do it. We have a nice school at Special Services. We don't want our school to go downhill like Tech. Tech has people selling drugs, a night school that is failing, and a school board that won't allow parents to attend meetings. We have a nice, working environment at Special Services, board meetings at 5 p.m. so parents can attend, and an administration that cares about the students.

Moderator's Note:
Superintendent Nancy Hudanich, in an email to the Herald Feb. 23, stated, "We continue to keep open lines of communication with our parents and educational community regarding any pertinent information. In addition, our parents and community are welcome to come to our board meetings which are held at various times of day throughout the school year. If you have any other specific concerns please report them directly to our main office so that we can address them immediately. On a separate note, our Night School is starting to fill up and we already have several classes that are filled with waiting lists. Please feel free to contact me to arrange to come out at night and see the wonderful job we do with bringing the community into our school with continued education."
