Woodbine - I am seeing spouts from Dennis and Upper needing more patrols because people wait for long times to get a response. Just like Dennis had constables years ago, Woodbine also had a small but good local department. Times got tough, and now we just have the troopers in town who also have to do UT and DT. It really is time for both of these larger and richer townships to pony up and hire some part-time constables to help the troopers with some neighborhood patrols, ordinance enforcement, and other smaller duties. And look at the Wildwoods with four police departments, and cops who come in just minutes.
