Wildwood - Why is it that you get more of a punishment for a traffic violation in Lower and Middle townships than contractors who rip consumers off of thousands of dollars? Honest, working people are fined, have vehicles impounded, must go to court, and pay fines and court costs, yet contractors with repeat offenses of taking money and not showing up for jobs, walking off jobs, or damaging property walk away free and clear. All the state cares about is their little fines for not being registered in NJ. $250 fine. Consumer affairs, prosecutors... useless. Their answer... it is what it is.
