Wildwood - While I agree with a spouter that we need to work toward solutions rather than inflame emotions in our current issues surrounding police, I strongly disagree that more training is needed. Look up the required curriculum for police in NJ. It is more than adequate. Consider the fact that it's more than three times the training Marine and Army infantrymen are sent to combat with. You can't teach the traits that keep cops alive without taking out other people in classrooms. We ask the police to enforce laws on offenders who are emboldened by years of bad behavior and with reputations for violence.
