Wildwood - When you sit in church listening to your pastor speak of kindness and compassion for the less fortunate, is it something you agree with? I just wonder if the spouters who are so against homeless shelters for people who live outside in the freezing cold really go to church to be a better person, or is it all for show? When you leave church, you go home to a nice, warm house and probably have a good breakfast. Not everyone who is homeless is a healthy and educated person who can easily bathe, put on a new outfit, go to a job interview, and get hired. I was homeless twice in my life and it wasn't easy!

Moderator's Note:
Improvement is a lifelong process. Even if some are going for show, there is a chance they will hear something life-changing.
