Too many cops, not enough cops, so which is it?

Wildwood - Too many cops, not enough cops, so which is it? I read a lot of debate for both sides, so how about we just police ourselves? If we do that, we can get rid of the expensive police department. While we are at it, get rid of fire and rescue too. We can do that by ourselves and save a lot of money.
