Wildwood - On Jan. 4, I woke up to the first weather emergency in Cape May County for 2018, blizzard snowfall, heavy winds, and tidal flooding to be followed in the days afterward by polar vortex freezing weather. While sitting high, dry, and warm, my thoughts and prayers went immediately to Puerto Rico, where the new, "forgotten" American citizens are still without power in many parts of this country for over 100 days. The "forgotten" coal miners from West Virginia certainly will get much more from Trump other than paper towels thrown into the crowd when a natural disaster strikes there.
