Wildwood Crest - My favorite example of the dual ironies of sign blight/non-enforcement of the "law" would have to be Crest Beach Pier. All kinds of signs state no bicycles, no skateboards, no dogs, no smoking, and no walking on dunes, yet the pier is loaded with dogs, skateboards, bicycles, smokers and people trampling over the dunes to climb on the pier, as the police sit under it or accelerate around it in their buggies, wasting gas and doing nothing. Thanks for the fumes and the noise, as well.
