Wildwood Crest - Around 4:45 p.m. June 20, lifeguards asked a lady to remove her dog from the beach. The police came, and she said she had a special-needs child and the dog was there for that. Before they came, I nicely explained that dogs are not permitted after May 1, and she became very argumentative and said it was a puppy and that everyone has dogs on the beach. It was a very big dog barking at people as they passed by. The police did nothing. No one is enforcing the law! We have dogs on the beach, and bikes and dogs on the Boardwalk.
